Story 9: Pillow Talk


The mattress shifted making your frown at the sudden movement. The grey blanket only covering half of you body while you hugged the large pillow next to you. You groaned as shifted your position to try as sooth the pain on your left shoulder. You sighed in contentment; you loved this type of mornings. You also knew that the man next to you would start pillow talk any minute now. As if reading your mind Levi who was still shirtless turned around still hoping not to wake you up.

You smiled as he wrapped an arm around your torso. With your eyes still closed he pulled you towards his chest. Your body stealing his warmth, you shuffle trying to again get confortable.

“You're cold”

He muttered in your hair. You chuckled and answered.

“No, you’re too hot”

You said implying a double meaning, which made him chuckle. He had always enjoyed your sense of humour.  His free hand moved your hair too expose your skin. He lean in and kissed your shoulder blade making you shiver in the process. His grip on your torso increased and he rested his head on the crook of your neck. His breathe tickling your cheek.

You were drifting once again in a deep slumber when you felt warm lips begging to kiss your collarbone. Another sly smile appeared on your face. You let him be for a minute or two more before turning your body around. Your eyes met his and he flashed one of his rare smiles at you. You returned the smile. He pushed your back a little more to make the space the both of you smaller. You rolled your eyes and he kissed your nose. You smiled at the action and tangled your fingers in his ebony locks.

The sunlight had just begun to penetrate the room, signalising the awaking of the wild city that was thousand of miles away from were you where now.

“Levi, are you sure escaping was a good idea?”

You asked still doubting him. He chuckled bringing your free hand to his lips kissing it tenderly.

“What’s done can’t be undone”

He answered staring at your (e/c) orbs, his eyes drifted down to your lips just to go back to your enchanting eyes. Your eyes never left his; you could read the hidden words in his eyes. He was asking for permission even after all of these years.  He moved his face closer so that he could feel your breath on his nose. He stopped a few centimetres away from your lips; you waited impatiently while he smirked. Finally he decided to place his lips on yours softly, caring, loving nothing like last night’s events. You smiled into the kiss, his hand caressing your skin. Your fingers digging deep into his scalp making him groan. He slowly pulled away and with his free hand he pushed a strand of hair out of your face.

“Now you won’t go all cheesy on me, will you?”

You asked teasingly. He smirked and pecked your lips.

“What would you do if I am?”

He asked huskily into your ear. While his breath flicking your hair you in a fast movement pinned him on the mattress. His smirk grew wider as you placed both your hands on his chest.

“Then I’d have to punish you”

You said returning the smirk. His hands shot up to grip your waist. A gush of wind entered making the curtains dance madly to its melody. You chuckled and bend down while tucking a lock of (h/c) behind your ear. He met your half way and kissed you. It wasn’t a long sweet kiss as the one before but a series of passionate and addicting kisses. As you had done to him he turned you over, hovering over your body.

Your legs where at either side of him ready to attack him if you felt like it. He entwined his fingers with yours. He pushed his tongue through your lips exploring his territory. You moaned into the kiss and he pushed even deeper. He moved your entwined hands upwards above your head.

“And here I thought you came to make pillow talk”

You said as he left a trail of butterfly kisses down your neck. He stopped and looked up to your eyes for a second before licking your collarbone.

“I’m sure this pillows can talk enough on their own”
